Its brass-tone arm folds at a central elbow, swinging the ribbed ceramic globe outward to between 24 and 27 cm from the wall or tucking it neatly back light exactly where it is wanted, whether that means over a book, beside a pillow or flat against the wall when not in use.
The shade is the heart of the piece: a hand finished ceramic globe with fine vertical ribs that glow like a paper lantern when lit, warm and entirely without glare. It hangs from a vintage styled brass socket, and a 50 cm beaded pull chain with a brass ball drops from the fitting one gentle tug on, one tug off, no reaching for a wall switch.
Everything is anchored by a wooden wall plate in a rich walnut tone, grounding the brass and ceramic in natural texture. The Arletta takes a standard E27 bulb included in the box, rated up to 60W so it installs and lights the same evening it arrives.
