Hanoki is a wooden lantern floor lamp built in the tradition of Japanese shoji screens. A solid pine frame carries a lattice of slim wooden glazing bars over softly translucent panels, so that when lit, the whole lamp glows like a small paper window — warm, even, and gently gridded with shadow lines. A stepped cap and plinth base complete the architectural, pagoda-like silhouette.
The diffuser panels are made from imitation-sheepskin PVC with high light transmittance, giving a soft, golden wash of light without glare while standing up to everyday knocks better than paper. Inside, twin E26/E27 fittings hold two standard screw-fit bulbs (sold separately, maximum 100 W), producing a fuller, brighter glow than a single-bulb lantern of this size.
Hanoki is a low, tatami-style floor lamp made to sit directly on the floor beside a bed, sofa, or along a corridor wall, and it works just as naturally on a console or cabinet. It comes in two heights — 45 cm and 60 cm — on the same 24 × 24 cm footprint, and in a choice of natural or brown wood finish.
