The Kasara is a semi flush ceiling light built around two simple forms: a gently curved wooden shade and an opal globe nestled at its centre. The wood's natural grain runs across the full sweep of the shade, so no two pieces carry exactly the same pattern, while the soft white globe sits beneath it like a full moon under a brim. The result is quietly Japandi warm, organic, and entirely unfussy.
Because it mounts semi flush on a compact 10 cm canopy, the Kasara sits close to the ceiling and suits the spaces most ceiling lights overwhelm: hallways, landings, entryways, snug bedrooms, and rooms with lower ceilings. It comes in two diameters 20 cm for tighter spots and 30 cm where the fixture should hold more presence and works beautifully in a run of two or three along a corridor.
The light itself is warm and diffused. The opal globe softens the output of a single G9 bulb into an even, glare free glow, with the wooden shade bouncing a gentle wash back down into the room. The fitting is LED compatible for long bulb life and low energy use; a bulb is not included, so one G9 bulb should be chosen to suit the preferred brightness.
