The Mesano is built from two honest materials doing exactly what they do best. A cast concrete column carries the weight and the character cool, speckled, and slightly raw to the touch while a fine perforated steel mesh forms the shade below, filtering the bulb's glow into thousands of pinpoints of light. Lit, the mesh seems to dissolve; the bulb hovers inside a soft metallic haze.
Six silhouettes make up the family, from a pencil slim column at just 6cm across to a wide, low drum spanning 25cm. The narrow models suit bedside drops and tight clusters over a bar; the broader drums and the flared cone hold their own over dining tables and kitchen islands. Model D adds a speckled grey neck with a polished gold band for a touch of contrast within the same industrial language. Hung together at mixed heights, the shapes read as a deliberate composition rather than a matched set.
Every model shares the same construction: hardwired fitting, a generous 150cm cord for flexible hanging height, and a standard E27 socket rated to 40W, with the bulb sold separately. A visible filament-style LED is the natural partner here the open mesh is designed to put the bulb on display. The Mesano runs from a normal wall switch, and dims when paired with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer.
