The Plissa wall light takes a simple drum form and gives it texture. Its face is a ribbed acrylic diffuser a ring of fine vertical pleats that catch and scatter light set into a solid aluminium body that mounts flush to the wall. The result is a small fixture with an outsized sense of craft.
When lit, the ribbing breaks the LED's output into soft bands of brightness, producing a gentle, jewel-like glow rather than a flat disc of light. The LED bulb is included, and the fitting is hardwired directly into the wall supply, so there are no trailing cables to interrupt the clean circular silhouette.
At 13.5 cm across and projecting just 8.2 cm from the wall, the Plissa suits tight spaces as readily as open ones: beside a mirror, along a corridor, above a bedside or grouped in a run down a hallway.
