The Tavora is lighting reduced to two natural objects: a rounded shade of genuine yellow stone, pitted and veined the way only real stone can be, balanced beneath a smooth solid wood sphere. The pairing is pure wabi sabi one material rough and mineral, the other warm and tactile and because the stone is natural, no two shades carry exactly the same pattern of pores and texture.
An integrated LED sits recessed inside the stone shade, washing light straight down in a soft, focused pool with no visible source and no glare at eye level. It is a gentle, intimate kind of light, made for bedside drops, reading corners, and rows of two or three above a kitchen bench or café style table, where the pendant hangs low and close.
Two wood finishes shape the mood: Log, a pale natural timber that keeps the palette light and Scandinavian, and Walnut, a deep brown that adds contrast and a more vintage warmth, carried through the rod and canopy. The Tavora is hardwired, with a slim drop adjustable up to 180cm, and its compact 15cm shade means it earns its place in small spaces as easily as in multiples across a larger room.
