Description
Zirla is a leaning tripod floor lamp with the poised, insect-like stance of mid century Scandinavian design. A slim metal frame tilts forward over its three splayed legs, carrying a bullet shaped metal shade that points light exactly where it is wanted over a book, an armchair, or a corner that needs lifting. The whole lamp is metal, finished in soft matte colour.
The shade adjusts, so the beam can be angled to task or mood: tipped down for reading, raised to wash light across a wall. At 148 cm tall, Zirla stands at proper floor-lamp height while the open tripod keeps its visual weight close to nothing it leans over a sofa arm or reading chair without crowding the room.
Zirla is mains powered by plug-in cord with an inline push-button switch included, and takes a standard E27 screw-fit bulb up to 40 W, sold separately.
It comes in seven colours black, white, grey, pink, green, yellow, and orange from quiet neutrals to full macaron brights, making it as at home in a minimalist study as a playful child's room, café corner, or colour-blocked living space.
